I achieved A*A*A* in Physics, Maths and Chemistry for my A-Levels. I took AQA exams for Physics and Chemistry and OCR MEI for Mathematics, widely recognised as the most challenging exam board for A-Level Mathematics. I also wrote an Extended Project Qualification on interstellar travel which received a perfect 50/50 score. At GCSE I achieved 7 grade 9s including all core subjects, and several answers from my papers have been used by my school as model answers since I wrote them. At university I am on track to achieve a first in my Master's degree, and have helped many students at both my own school and around the country as a freelance tutor before joining GoStudent.
About me
Hi! I'm Emile, a third year Physics student at Durham University. With first hand and recent experience of the exams your child will be undertaking, I know exactly how to prepare for them and the intricacies of the exam questions that will really make the difference between that A and A*. My teaching style is heavily centred around practicing these questions and really understanding the way the markers want you to structure and present them, as this is ultimately what will determine your grade in Maths or Physics. I also specialise in developing the conceptual subject knowledge needed to answer the longer questions that you will be presented with. I'm very friendly, encouraging and I love to build personal connections with my students because I know first hand that working with somebody who emotionally invests themselves in your success makes all the difference in your progress. In my spare time I like to fly my racing drone in the woods and compete in local powerlifting competitions. I'm also learning to fly the RAF's Grob Tutor training aeroplane with my local University Air Squadron.
